George and Mekenze Limiri are a family-led team building community-first projects from their home in rural Meru, Kenya. After relocating from the U.S. to Meru, they established Limiri Farms and soon created the Limiri Family Foundation — a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to practical, locally-led improvements for schools and families in their village. Their work is rooted in everyday community needs such as clean water, sanitation, school meals, lighting, and emergency supplies, with a focus on empowering neighbors rather than offering one-time aid.
