From “Made in China” to “China’s Responsibility” — Using the power of technology to cross mountains and seas, letting every drop of water carry kindness

By chance, we learned that our customer, Mekenze Limiri, was helping to build a primary school in Kenya, Africa. During our conversations, we discovered that local water resources are scarce and people had little knowledge about water quality. After using our products to test the drinking water sources, the results were shocking: children had been consuming contaminated water for a long time, leading to frequent illnesses.

As a brand dedicated to serving consumers worldwide, Mekenze Limiri’s selfless action deeply resonated with us. Water is not just the chemical formula H2O—it is a safeguard for children’s health. Our company immediately decided to donate multiple sets of drinking water filtration devices and water quality testers to schools and hospitals in Kenya.

When the equipment arrived across the ocean, we witnessed the joyful smiles on the faces of children and medical staff—a true reflection of the power of kindness. In the scene, Mekenze Limiri patiently demonstrates to doctors and school leaders how to use the KACTOILY water testing pen and guides the installation of the water filtration devices.

George and Mekenze Limiri are a family-led team building community-first projects from their home in rural Meru, Kenya. After relocating from the U.S. to Meru, they established Limiri Farms and soon created the Limiri Family Foundation — a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to practical, locally-led improvements for schools and families in their village. Their work is rooted in everyday community needs such as clean water, sanitation, school meals, lighting, and emergency supplies, with a focus on empowering neighbors rather than offering one-time aid.

What sets George and Mekenze’s approach apart is how they combine entrepreneurship and direct giving. They run farm- and travel-based businesses that channel resources and visibility into foundation projects, sharing progress openly so supporters can see tangible results. The foundation has led multiple school initiatives, including building new sanitary latrines and conducting regular infrastructure checks, and has organized community distributions such as solar lighting kits, blankets, and stocked food storehouses to ensure children have at least one meal while at school. All projects are planned and executed alongside community members and local leaders, reflecting a partnership model rather than outside-driven charity.

Together, through the collaboration of KACTOILY and the Limiri Family Foundation, technology, compassion, and community engagement converge—turning clean water into a symbol of hope and empowerment for the children and families of Meru, Kenya.

We are committed to being a bridge that connects the world. While creating business value, we also take on the responsibility of promoting global social welfare. From “Made in China” to “China Innovation,” and from “China Innovation” to “China Responsibility”—every step is our promise to society.
