FAQs
Why are there some white marks on the probe when I received the product? Has this product been used?
Not at all.The white marks are from the protective solution we applied to the sealed protective cover to help preserve the probe. The protective solution is saturated, volatile, and easy to crystallize. Once the solution has overflowed and volatilized, it appears as white crystals. Simply rinse the probe gently with clean water to remove the crystals and ensure proper functionality.
Does the monitor emit current into the water when collecting, processing, and sending data? Will it affect the fish?
Not at all!We use high-frequency forward and reverse pulses that don't send an electric current into the water.
What does it mean if it shows "!" on the monitor?
It means that the display and probe have been disconnected. In this case, the display cannot receive data from the probe. Please shorten the distance between the display and the probe.
How deep do I need to place the probe underwater?
Do not submerge the upper part of the probe during use. While the probe is waterproof, excessive depth may expose it to high water pressure and reduce its lifespan. Ensure the probe does not go beyond the maximum water level line.
