High-Precision Industrial-Grade Probes
Warning:
The depth of the probe into the water needs to be placed between the highest and lowest water levels.
FAQs
What does your sensor's industrial-grade probe mean?
There are three grades of probes on the market, consumer grade, industrial grade and scientific grade.
Most of the probes are consumer grade and cannot be left in water for long periods of time. Kactoily probes are industrial grade so they have a longer lifespan and higher accuracy, and can be placed in water for a long time.
What if the probe is broken?
First of all, we offer a 12-month warranty for the probe and an 18-month warranty for the display..
With a split sensor and display design, if the probe breaks, you can replace it instead of replacing the whole monitor.
How deep do I need to place the probe underwater?
The depth of the probe into the water needs to be placed between the highest and lowest water levels.
What if the connecting line is not long enough?
Simply connect the extension line to the original line and attach it to the display if the original line is not long enough.
The total length of the connecting line is about 50 cm after using the extension line.
Why are there some white marks on the probe when I received the product?
The white marks are from the probe protective solution, as we added a special protective solution to the probe part to protect it.
The protective solution is saturated, volatile, and easy to crystallize. Once the solution has overflowed and volatilized, it appears as white crystals that can be used after washing.
Are the factory measurements of the product accurate? Do I need to calibrate it again when I receive the monitor?
Despite the fact that our products are strictly calibrated before leaving the factory, we still recommend you calibrate the monitor again before use.
Please refer to the manual for specific calibration steps. After that, it is recommended to calibrate it every six months, because any tester will produce errors during long-term use.
How should I proceed if the measurements do not change with different pH buffer solutions when calibrating?
Please click “Reset” to restore factory settings and re-calibrate.
