Nope, the monitor is ready to be used upon receipt.
The monitor should then be calibrated every 6 months thereafter since any monitor will produce errors over time.

How to disconnect the monitor from my phone?
Long press the right button for 3 seconds to disconnect your phone from the monitor.
How to connect to another phone when the old one is not used anymore?
- Please download the software ’Tuya‘ and complete the registration on your new cell phone in advance.
- Long press the middle connection button for 3 seconds and release it.
- You will hear three beeps, which means the monitor is in connection mode.
- Just click on 'Water Monitor' that appears in the ’Tuya‘ APP on your new phone.

2. Restore factory settings.
3. Re-calibration with calibration buffers.
Why is my ORP showing negative?

- The cord isn't plugged in tightly.
- Unstable power supply.
- There's a foreign object inside the probe.
